A long hair style or a short one?

Do you prefer a long or short hair style? I've had both. I usually don't spend much time or effort on my hair. I'm generally very relaxed about my appearance and prefer long hair that I can just sweep back in a pony tail and go. If I want to put a bit more effort into things, I can always braid my hair or put it in curlers for a night out on the town.

There have been several times in my life when I have had a short hair style. The first was when I joined the Marines and, as a female, your hair isn't allowed to touch your collar. So rather than spending the time to braid it or put it in a bun, I just chopped it off. It was easier and worked well until I was out of boot camp. Later, I let it grown again and keep my hair long for many years. Just under three years ago, I tried a short hair style again. It was cut in bob style about the length of my ears. It did look cute and as long as I was out of the wind, I liked it. In the wind that hair style drove me mad. It was just long enough to blow around my face and not long enough to pull back in a pony tail. I really don't want to go any shorter than a Bob so I guess, I'll just keep my hair long.
